[ we are here in this our holy casino-office space-buffet-chapel building. jolyne is holding a glass of something indiscernible and has a cigarette poking out of her lip, unlit. she probably isn't allowed to bring a drink up here, but she's a delinquent and she's not letting anyone stop her, she has smuggled so many things into places she shouldn't, what's a glass?
in any case she's gonna just sit herself down on pew in the center of the chapel and stare ahead. ]
Such is the job of the inquisitor, to hand them down.
[ staff of judgement and all. he eyes her for a moment. ]
As for final verdicts - perhaps it is best to keep those things personal? I did not vote with the majority. Though, in a sense, I suppose I did - a non-vote is just as telling, even if unintentional.

[ cleric or not, he's not the type to judge - and large concepts of what's 'good' aren't ever temenos's style.
but, after a moment. ] No one was going to vote for Reigen. That, in its crux, was certainly frustrating. Less so that no one was going to lean that way - more so that we didn't simply acknowledge what was happening as truth so we could solve the other case. That was a waste of precious time.
[ kicking her legs up onto the pew in front of her and sinking down. ]

[ thoughtful. ]
I think it's likely points are awarded for acting, yes. I wouldn't be surprised. After all, on Thursdays, heroes are allowed to "act as villains" - so perhaps playing along to avoid capture is a boon on your total of points. Maintaining your status as a hero despite acting briefly as a villain does seem to play well into their narrative.
