Nah. Well, unless you count being counted as technically a Warrior of Light as having a 'holy background'. Which, you know, I don't, just so you know.

And I sure didn't do much 'studying' about being one. But, of course we've got our own brand of troublemakers, you know? Those who do enjoy consorting with the Darkness, or whatever.
