after everything has been processed and they've been pushed out, time passes! but should albedo come back to the storybook cafe, he may find that temenos is back here once more. he's standing a bit off to the side, just away from the crime scene tape and the prinnies everywhere, hand to his chin, eyes closed, and he is
deep
deep
deep in thought. like, if albedo walks away and come back? still not moving. hmmm ]
but yeah he's coming back to the storybook cafe because he's curious anyway. Temenos being there is not so much a surprise, but it is a surprise when Albedo walks a quick round out to the courtyard away from the crime scene tape and back again to realise that he still hasn't moved.
hmmmmmm ]
Penny for your thoughts? You seem like you're mulling over something.
[ there's yet another long pause like he's not going to even respond.
...but, eventually, towards the end of his statement, he blinks. slowly, once, twice, and then frowns at the crime scene... and then realizes a moment later he has company. ]
Ah. [ ... ] Albedo, right? My apologies. Did you say something...?
Ah. [ there's a little laugh, sheepish. ] I've done it again. Haha - something of a bad habit to be lost in thought when stuck on a particular problem.
[ "a bad habit" you were in a fugue state but go off king
anyway ]
I'm just going over the case that we've managed to gather so far, and trying to put together a timeline, or, at least get a better understanding of the events that occurred. There are many things to ponder.
The tea setting is sticking with me, to start. How strange.
there sure is a cat in a tree. temenos, one hand on the staff of judgment and the other on his hip, is looking up at the little kitten with his brows furrowed. ]
It appears as if someone's bitten off a bit more than they can chew. [ the kitten meows. he glances around briefly at the branches, to see if they're semi scalable... ]
[ might as well, right? the kitten looks so sad and desperate up there, mewling. ]
... I suppose the first question is how we get it to notice. I'm not sure how strong a cat's nose can be. [ a pause, and he calls up: ] Come along, little cat... [ pspsppss ]
week 0, friday

Nothing important.
[ that much is true at least ]
Yes, that's me. Temenos, right? I don't believe we've been formally introduced.
I was just wondering if you were preoccupied with something, you seemed lost in thought for a moment there.

week 2, Tuesday nebulous time bc mg time is FAKE
which actually just means really that temenos and albedo have somehow responded to the same request and are now standing under a very tall tree.
at the top of the tree there is a very tiny black kitten that is meowing very loudly at them. ]
I thought cats were supposed to be able to jump down from that height..

Well. Heroism does come in all forms, mm?

And it just so happens that our type of magic probably will not help...
[ holy light and fire both do not sound like good ideas in this case. ]
[ that said, reaches into his pocket to pull out a cat treat. goat dorm may have acquired ten cats over the course of two days maybe. ]
Think we can bribe it down?
