It's a bit odd, really - knowing they're alive somewhere, and knowing we're required to do this. It feels more like going through the motions than it does anything particularly nightmarish.
I imagine it doesn't lessen the adrenaline spike, fight or flight nature of your life being on the line. In a way, that makes it feel even more frustrating.

Gaming a system that won't let up. Unless there's a way to cut the whole thing short by force, we have to go through the motions again next week? I don't think any of us want to kill.

Unfortunately, next week, we will just have to decide which of four people murdered someone else. Or, worse - someone else will pick up the mantle and kill for any other reason. Misinformation being not the least. Then, we'll spend all day spiraling over two cases as usual.
