[ that's... a lot to take in all at once -- especially when it's so different to what she's used to, how she knows the world.
temenos has said bits and pieces about his home. he's named gods and religions and practices that mean very, very little to her but clearly make up his entire world view and who he is as the strange little hard-to-know person he can be.
but there are so many names she doesn't know there, even if the context of 'loss' is clear. people temenos has lost, people taken from him, and the way this woman who seems like someone he once knew bears some distant responsibility for those losses, even if it wasn't directly by her hands. ]
Uh... Temenos--?
[ she doesn't really get a chance to ask him about anything before her own memory takes over the silence following temenos' own. ]
well. the good thing is that tamas happens immediately afterwards. because you know what he will not be doing? addressing a single part of his memory. instead, he just says, in surprised realization as it finishes: ]
...Ah. You were created, Tama - no wonder being human felt so strange.
[ and also. no wonder she's so close to ryuki, but he doesn't say that, either. ]
[ please understand how hard i've been laughing about this for weeks ]
Through the powers of the god of chaos, Vide, utilizing something we simply know as 'Shadow'. They had already nearly been successful - when the lights of the Sacred Flame were temporarily exterminated, a darkness spread across Solistia.
[ we have to get him some shades so he can put them on, say "fuck the moon" and walk towards the final battle ]
Not the most original naming convention there... "Shadow". I'm assuming that wihtout the, uh, 'Sacred Flame' that means no light, no heat, all the important things you get from the sun itself.
A moon cult is barely even the weirdest thing I've heard of, Temenos. There's a cult back home that thinks the whole world is a video game and if they do enough weird things they can glitch the world and reach "Moksha".
[ deadpanned. ]
Moon cults and moon shenanigans is exactly the kind crap I'd expect people to be behind.

Yes, that's correct. To say "a world under the control of the moon" is familiar to me is, unfortunately, not putting it lightly.

Okay, but--
Was the moon apparently also a man you could beat up?

No, just a cult.
