I'll admit, ours was a bit rough, but I am glad it was the three of us. We're all capable in some form of combat, or at least used to fighting creatures like the ones we faced.
There are ways to fix an eye, but I think trying to suggest them to him might make him do that "my mind is shutting down" face he always does when I tech talk him.

Yes - a dragon, and another large red dog creature. It was a bit wolflike. There were others, too, but those were the only ones we got up close and personal with.

Tech is eaaaasy. You just need to listen and take it in, then go and mess around until it sticks. Learn by doing, right?
