But the last minute discussion, the yelling. That didn't help if anyone wasn't sure what was going on. It's easy to get swept up in the crowd.

Hans, in a sense, made himself an easy target. People wanted to believe that he did something wrong, because of his actions both at the beginning, with the ratings, and at the end, and so they saw that as the only truth. Combined with a clearer culprit, and one people didn't want to confront? The easy answer. I can't say that I was surprised, that he was our final choice.

It's never easy, having to bring these things to light. And it's worse when you don't have the luxury of going back to fix a mistake, with clearer hindsight. Even back home it's not like things were ever really that kind though.

Axel showed you the note we got on Thursday, I'm guessing? If Hans doesn't walk out of the execution tomorrow, we're going to have to try and keep Danny and Nimona safe somehow.

...Not only that, but seeing as how the teams had to be eliminated to reach that point... Does it not also imply that perhaps those killed here are not so dead, after all? Or, at least, that someone has the power to potential return them to life?
I don't think it negates the trauma of the "murder". But--

The only way I can think of that happening is if the people walking around are data, or... we'rd all data, and "dying" is just removing us from the active field...
