with a very, very good insight roll, she can see that something is definitely Off. temenos is very good at hiding his emotions, but there's an utterly set tension to his shoulders, a stiffness to his movements that's not usually there. he's lacking some of his normal grace as he moves, and there's this air of something just - he's just off, a bit like he might just be going through the motions. even the smile feels that way, like whatever mask he typically has practically sottered to his face is threatening to come loose, and he's trying desperately to hold it in place.

[ it's definitely different from how she's used to seeing him. granted, things have been... a little weird today. she picks up a couple of the containers of loose leaf, kind of trying to make sense of them maybe, but she ain't no botanist. still, she eases her voice a little, stays fairly chill as she observes because she wonders if he's about as tense as she feel after having lost one thing just to have it replaced with another. and then lost again.
